ROUND AND OVAL CASKS

HERITAGE

Since 1951, when the former Budapesti Kádár was created, our coopers have been producing oak casks gaining a unique know-how and experience.

TERROIR

Growing in the harsh conditions of the Inner Carpathian Volcanic Mountains, near the region of Tokaj, the oak wood we use to make our casks offers a tight to very tight grain.

KNOW-HOW

The exceptional quality of the Quercus Petraea tight grain requires our best attentions. After a 36-months natural air seasoning, our coopers apply a long and light toasting process over a traditional oak fire.

OENOLOGICAL ADVANTAGES

The Kádár casks will contribute complexity,

freshness and a long finish. They will respect

the identity and harmony of your wine while

adding vibrancy and elegance. The toasting will

be respectful of the fruit.
