News - The Kádár workshop has been created

The Kádár workshop is an initiative in which we want to brainstorm and evolve together with winemakers so our shared experiences can contribute to better and better wines.

We started the workshop by sampling the first barrel primarily based on the 2015 wines. Our guests included winemakers and expert media representatives, with whom we could compare the maturation of identical base-wines in different barrels. There were almost 30 samples, which was a good way to show that the barrel can personalise the same wine and that we have a wide range of tools by using different barrels.

We have great responsibility, as we constitute the last step of a creative process. Our job is to take this step together with winemakers, by relying on serious professional experience. Our workshop serves the same purpose. It will be held in a number of Hungarian and Central-eastern European wine areas throughout the year.

We thank Zwack Museum for the beautiful location and their patience as the two-hour event stretched to four hours. But we could have gone on all night, we had so many exciting items and ideas as well as interesting information.

Our next venue is in Szekszárd. We will post the details soon.
